COLOdriX entero SR is a food for special medical purposes containing butyric acid as microencapsulated sodium butyrate and lactoferrin — a natural iron-binding protein. Butyric acid is a short-chain fatty acid naturally produced in the large intestine, the main energy source for intestinal epithelial cells, supporting their regeneration. Lactoferrin supports the body's immune mechanisms.
