Sikatris silicone scar patches 5 x 30 cm

SIKATRIS silicone patches are intended for the care of all types of scars and are easy and comfortable to use. They improve the appearance of both old and fresh scars. Effective on hypertrophic and keloid scars, and also as a preventive measure on closed wounds against abnormal scarring. The 5 x 30 cm size is dedicated especially to caesarean-section scars. The patches reduce scar visibility, lighten and smooth the scar, and support rehabilitation of post-traumatic, post-burn and post-surgical scars. Ultra-thin and comfortable to wear.

Wash hands thoroughly before use. Gently wash the scar and surrounding skin with soap, rinse with warm water and dry carefully. Take the patch out and, if needed, cut it to the size of the scar leaving at least a 0.5 cm margin on each side. Carefully remove the protective film and apply the adhesive side starting from the edge of the scar, then press it over its whole surface. Once a day remove the patch, clean the scar with neutral soap and dry it. Change the patch every 3–5 days when it loses adhesion — best results are achieved with a change every 24 hours.
